Activa System has four new members
01.06.2008Representatives of the Activa system report that they have been joined by four new members. The first to become full members were the BKS Bank and the Hranilnica Vipava who have already begun issuing bank payment cards.
Probanka will start issuing their bank cards during October 2008, followed shortly by the Hranilnica LON, who are at this moment in the process of signing agreements and whose representatives are in active cooperation with all three committees of the Activa system.
The Activa system, the largest card system in Slovenia began operations in 1992. It unites important financial institutions that carry out the development of national as well as international cash-free business. The system has already achieved a 45% market share in Slovene card business and unites over 800,000 customers.
Within the framework of the system, bank members have issued over 1.100,000 pay cards. Under its watchful eye it has almost 13,300 POS-terminals and 30,000 sales points.
