Continuing business success for Banka Koper ...
28.08.2001The first half of 2001 shows a continuation in the trend of successful business operations for Banka Koper. The Bank increased its total assets by 12.2% reaching 222.5 billion Tolars at the end of June. The attained increase is 2.4 points higher in comparison with Slovenia´s banking sector. Gross profits in the first half of 2001 totalled 1.6 billion Tolars.
Profits and other performance indicators permit the realisation of projects formed by the supervisory board during the year 2000. These increases in total assets are connected with the expansion of business throughout Slovenia, realisation of projects previously created with the emphasis on renewing information technology and searches for new business opportunities and strategic partners, which permit a longterm, stable and competitive position for the Bank.
